Jagex could be working on a RuneScape-themed OSRS gold action RPG

RuneScape developer Jagex has worked on the name because the early 2000s, producing three separate iterations of the game over the years, including RuneScape Classic, RuneScape two (now Old School Runescape), also RuneScape 3.

Even though RuneScape Classic was eventually shut down, Old School RuneScape (OSRS) and RuneScape 3 stay as popular as ever. Really, the matches have been so powerful for Jagex the company hasn't bothered to make any new IPs or titles in quite some time.

Prior to that, Jagex ran a gaming website named FunOrb, which has since been closed down.

In case a current report in Wccftech is anything to go by however, Jagex may be attempting to break from its comfort zone again.

Nothing is known about the name aside a lot of bonus from the fact that it may exist. It might be an MMO such as RuneScape 3 and OSRS, or it might be a single-player match.
